What is your role at MT Loos?
I joined MT Loos as an administrator 8 years ago – I can’t believe how quickly that time has flown by… they do say ‘time flies when you’re having fun’, don’t they?! In a previous life I was an accounts clerk, working at the head office of an optical company. I’m a very organised person and I like to get things done so this role is perfect for me and my skills!
What do you love about your role?
No two days are the same! I’m a social person and I love chatting to people, so being able to deal with members of the public every day makes each day much more enjoyable for me. I love nothing more than having a chat with our customers, finding out about the events or projects they are planning. And would you believe it… we also talk about the weather a lot! I guess that can’t be helped with how unpredictable it is – especially when it comes to planning outdoor events!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to cook, so working on new recipes and trying new food has become a real hobby. Going to the theatre whenever I can is something I thoroughly enjoy, as is spending as much time as possible with my grandson – who is growing up way too quickly!
